How does Fisio™ work?

Fisio is a personal golf training service designed to help you practice effectively in between golf lessons. Training with Fisio will help you ingrain the fundamental movements of a great golf swing into your muscle memory. Fisio provides easy-to-understand golf training sessions that can be done anytime, anywhere, in about 10 minutes a day. All you need is a golf club and mirror.

I’ve been playing golf for years. If I train with Fisio, will I have to retool my entire swing?

The short answer is no – Fisio training does not require that you retool your entire swing. Fisio delivers a personalized training program that helps you train and ingrain the specific elements of your swing that you’re working on. With Fisio, you can expect to dramatically improve the consistency of your swing, resulting in more great shots and fewer bad shots.

I take golf lessons. How does Fisio fit in?

Fisio is an excellent complement to golf lessons. Use Fisio in between lessons to train and ingrain the key movements your golf instructor has identified for you to improve your golf swing. It’s like any other skill: lessons and real-time feedback from an expert are invaluable, but you’ll make much more progress if you train with Fisio in between lessons.

What if I’m not taking golf lessons right now?

No problem. Fisio training sessions give you everything you need in order to understand and train the micro-movements of a great swing. So you make real progress when using Fisio independently.  If you decide to incorporate lessons at some point in the future – great. Many Fisio users find that the insights they get from working with a golf instructor can help provide additional focus and acceleration to their Fisio training plan.

Can a beginner use Fisio?

Yes. Fisio helps all golfers – regardless of skill level – ingrain the correct movements of a great swing into their muscle memory so they’re able to hit more consistently good shots. Because each training drill comes with an explanation of how that micro move fits into the golf swing overall, it works great for beginners. A beginner might want to go through each training session a little more slowly, or more often, than an experienced golfer. And, beginners may have a few more questions (please reach out – we’re here to help!). But, the fundamental program is effective for all golfers, regardless of experience level.

What kind of setup and space do I need for Fisio training sessions?

You’d be surprised. Most Fisio training drills work quite well even in limited space. If you can clear out about a 8-foot by 8-foot area of floor space, that’s more than enough. (Many of our users get by with less.) Most Fisio drills don’t involve a full swing, so a high ceiling is nice but definitely not necessary.

How often do I need to train?

Whatever works for you. Most golfers tell us they train with Fisio 3-4 times a week. Quite a few golfers are able to train every day and get a good streak going. Like any skill, the more you practice, the faster you’ll improve.

How do I know I’m doing the training properly?

We are here for you! Doing correct reps of the fundamental movements of a great swing is how you are going to improve. Each training video describes ways you can check your precise technique in the mirror. If you’re still not sure, submit a Rep Review. Rep Reviews allow you to send us a video of your training, and a Fisio-certified trainer will reply with personalized video feedback for you.

How long do I need to use Fisio before I notice improvement?

It depends (of course). Most golfers tell us that they feel like they are hitting the ball noticeably better within the first month of training – sometimes much sooner. It may take longer for actual scores to go down, but in the meantime, you’ll be able to tell that you’re on the right track.
